Click on each state below to review the information that is included in the Employment Screening Resources (ESR) multi-jurisdictional search, as well as any supplemental database information available in the state. However, ESR recommends County level searches and that these resources be used as a supplement. For some states, ESR will be adding information about laws affecting how an employer and background firm can legally obtain and use criminal records and credit reports.
