Service Alert:  One of ESR's fax numbers is experiencing technical difficulties.  Any client that faxed in an order on Mach 27 or 28, 2001 to 415- 723-7779 should either refax it to the new ESR toll-free number or check with customer service to make sure the order was received.   Also, by using the ESRnet service, you can immediately  tell if your   order has been received  and the current real-time status.   
The new toll free fax numbers for orders is;  800.399.5423 ESR uses a fax to e-mail service.  That means that your faxes come to us in an e-mail form.  The advantages to ESR clients is that our fax service is never busy, out of paper or delayed.  You never have to stand at a fax machine and redial.    However, when there are problems on the  Internet, there can be service interruptions.   One of our Internet fax providers, efax, is experiencing these technical difficulties.  Our new toll free number is with a different provider.   Please contact customer service if we can provide  any special assistance.

ESRnet		ESRnet!!  For clients  on the ESRnet service, please click  here.  ESRnet services are  best viewed with the most recent version of the Internet Explorer and Adobe Acrobat Reader. In addition, because of the high security level involved, a 128 bit encryption browser is needed.  If you need to upgrade to a 128 bit encryption, it can be done from the following web site in a matter of a few minutes.  http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/download/128bit Adobe Acrobat and Internet Explorer 5.0 can be downloaded from the bottom of this   page.

Instructions for downloading Adobe Acrobat: Many computers already have the Adobe Acrobat Reader already downloaded.   If it is not downloaded, you can do in from this site in a matter of a few minutes.   Once it is downloaded on your computer, you can use it to read numerous documents on many web sites.  1.  Click on the icon above to go to the Adobe Acrobat Reader site. 2.  On the bottom of the Adobe site are three boxes. 3.  In the first box, fill in the platform you are using (e.g. Windows95 or Windows 98). 4.  Go to the third box and click the download button. 5.  You will then get a dialogue box asking you to either open the file or to download it.  Select the button to download the file. 6.  You will then be asked where do you want to save it.  On most computers, it will default to saving it on the desktop.  Save the Adobe file to the desktop in order to get back to it easily. 7.  After the Adobe Acrobat Reader is saved to your desktop, minimize all open pages in order to go to your desktop.  There you will find the icon for the Adobe Acrobat Reader. 8.  Click on the icon and it will automatically load the Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer-just follow any directions  that are asked. 9.  You can now read any document on the web that utilizes the Adobe Acrobat Reader, including the ESRnet.
