Department of Corrections
The Washington, D.C. Department of Corrections provides records on persons who passed through the District prison system between 1987-2002. Records are verified by name and date of birth. Record information includes felony and state-level misdemeanors-- identified separately. This jurisdiction is included in the national search only.
P.O.D. (Proprietary Offender Data)
This database is comprised of proprietary criminal data compiled from previously ordered county, statewide and federal criminal requests, from all 50 states, which contained records, as well as data aggregated by a third party provider.

The sex offender registry is maintained by the Washington, DC Metropolitan Police Department. Registry information includes offender name, sex offense description, case number, date of registration, court of conviction, date of birth, address of registration, employment address, eye color, height and weight. The District of Columbia District Court Administrator (AOC) provides district wide court data back to 1979. Records are verified by name and date of birth. Record information includes felony and misdemeanor offenses ? identified separately. Offense description, county of conviction, file date, conviction date, case number, and disposition are reported. Many requests are returned within 90 minutes, with the remainder returned in one business day.
