Background Screening Industry Veteran Brad Landin Named President while Employment Screening Resources (ESR) Founder Attorney Les Rosen Retains Title of CEO.
Novato, CA — Employment Screening Resources (ESR), a nationwide background check company headquartered in the San Francisco Bay area and accredited by The National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS®), has expanded its management team and named Brad Landin as President. In his new role, Landin will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s strategy, operations, and finances. ESR’s founder Attorney Les Rosen, who will retain the title of Chief Executive Officer, made the announcement.

Rosen also announced that Jim Crockett would move to the position of Executive Vice President. Rounding out the expanded ESR management team is ESR’s longtime Director of Business Development Jared Callahan, ESR’s new Director of Information Technology and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) John Cummings, and Client Relations Manager Orianna “Ory” Tucker.
Landin joined ESR in April 2011 before assuming the role of President. He brings over 30 years of management experience in both the private and public sectors and 20 years of experience in regulated industry compliance matters to ESR. Landin has worked in the background screening industry since 1999 and has extensive experience in background screening operations, as well as legal compliance. He is also an active participant in the NAPBS, a non-profit trade association for the background screening industry.
Executive VP Crockett will direct day-to-day operations and finances of ESR and oversee the company’s nationwide network of court researchers. Business Development Director Callahan brings over a decade of service and sales experience to ESR, along with a full understanding of employment screening operations. Director of Information Technology and CISO John Cummings oversees the continual development of ESR’s industry leading proprietary automated paperless solutions technologies, develops and implements the company’s Information Security policies, monitors data and privacy protection, and conducts ongoing risk assessments. Client Relations Manager Tucker is responsible for all client care matters at ESR and possesses a proven track record in service, operations, and compliance.
