  • WEDNESDAY, MAY 15, 2013 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM — Session #410 – The Top 10 Trends for Background Checks in 2013–What Every Employer Needs to Know, ROOM 101 (Ground Level): Background checks are mission critical for employers to prevent the legal and financial nightmare of a bad hire. However, employers face increased litigation, regulation and legislation. For example, the new U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Guidance on criminal records may change how employers hire. This session will review the top ten trends and best practices for 2013 including EEOC compliance, social networking sites, credit reports, privacy and international checks.
