Dawn Standerwick, Vice President of Strategic Growth for Employment Screening Resources® (ESR) and Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS®), will speak on a panel at the HR Open Standards 2017 Annual Meeting taking place March 9-10, 2017, in Denver, Colorado. Standerwick, who was elected NAPBS Chair for the 2016-2017 term, will be discussing “HR Tech Trends in 2017 and Beyond Panel: Best of Breed vs. Suite of Products” on Thursday, March 9, 2017, from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM Mountain Time. A seasoned background screening industry professional, she is a long time member of the Board of Directors for the NAPBS who is actively involved in government relations.
The HR Open Standards 2017 Annual Meeting brings together technology providers, HR professionals, and global standards advocates to promote awareness and adoption of the consortium’s HR data exchange standards. Sessions will include trending keynotes, real-world implementation case studies, and hands-on development workgroups. At the conference, attendees can also:

As Chair of the Board of Directors of NAPBS, Standerwick meets with legislators and governmental agencies such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in Washington, DC to promote common interests of Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRAs) and Human Resource (HR) professionals alike.
In March 2016, Standerwick accepted a position on the Advisory Board of HR Tech Alliances, a global HR portal designed to foster collaboration, strategic partnerships, and alliances in the HR Technology industry. She joins members of the HR Tech Alliances Advisory Board to work with mature and startup HR technology sector leadership teams to create “best-of-breed” mutually beneficial service alliances.
