The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) will release a survey examining workplace policies and practices called the “National Study of Employers” on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, and one of the study’s authors will talk about key findings of the research and answer questions about the survey during a Facebook Live session on that same day, according to a press release on the SHRM website.
Ellen Galinsky, president and co-founder of the Families and Work Institute (FWI), will talk about the “National Study of Employers” released by SHRM during a Facebook Live session taking place on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The “National Study of Employers” is a survey of more than 900 U.S. employers with 50 or more employees was conducted by the Families and Work Institute and will be released by SHRM as part of the When Work Works initiative. Questions can be submitted to Galinsky, a senior research advisor at SHRM, on Facebook and Twitter via the hashtag #SHRMNSE or emailed to her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The study is a comprehensive look at employer practices, policies, programs and benefits that address the personal and family needs of employees. The study – which examines flexible work arrangements, paid and unpaid parental and other caregiver leave, and elder-care assistance – will be available in the Research section of the SHRM website on March 8, 2017, and on the SHRM Workforce Flexibility Page.
