Employment Screening Resources to Attend SHRM 2017 Talent Management Conference and Exposition

Employment Screening Resources® (ESR), a strategic choice for employers concerned about accuracy and compliance in their screening programs, will attend the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) 2017 Talent Management Conference & Exposition at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, Illinois, from April 24 to 26, 2017. The SHRM 2017 Talent Management Conference will cover a range of timely issues in nearly 50 concurrent sessions. More than 1,000 recruiters and HR professionals from across the country are expected to attend the conference. ESR founder and CEO Attorney Lester Rosen will make three presentations at the conference. Two full length sessions include ‘Social Media Background Screening. Is it Right for My Company?’ on Monday, April 24, 2017, from 10:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. CST, and ‘Legal and Effective Reference Checking, Credential and Education Verification’ on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, from 9:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. CST.

In addition, Rosen – the author of ‘The Safe Hiring Manual’ who just completed a 3rd edition of the book that was published in January of 2017 and will be available at The SHRMStore – will participate in a shorter third session entitled ‘The Case for Hiring Slow and Firing Fast’ on the Smart Stage for the SHRM Talent Management Conference on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, from 3:50 p.m. to 4:08 p.m. CST.

ESR will occupy Booth 633 at the conference. ESR Vice President of Strategic Growth Dawn Standerwick, who was elected Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS®) for the 2016-17 term, will be at the booth along with ESR Account Executive Pri Murphy and ESR Key Clients Advocate Heidi Winterble.
