The webinar presented by Rosen – author of “The Safe Hiring Manual” – will review legal and effective techniques for reference checks that include how to verify education, spot worthless degrees, and uncover phony employment credentials. Rosen will also cover the legal landscape concerning past employment references, including an employer’s potential liability when providing information.
Rosen will explain the best practices to use when asking for past employment information and helpful insights and best practices in obtaining past employment references. Other topics include special issues such as handling verification of current employment, what to do if the past employer no longer exists, military employment, and dealing with employment databases. Attendees of this webinar will learn how to:
