March 2013 Employment Report from Bureau of Labor Statistics Shows 88000 Jobs Added in Month

March 2013 ADP National Employment Report Shows 158000 Jobs Added in Month

Private sector employment in the U.S. increased by 158,000 jobs from February 2013 to March 2013 on a seasonally adjusted basis, according to the March 2013 ADP National Employment Report® produced by Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP®) in collaboration with Moody’s Analytics. The March 2013 ADP report also revised the estimated gain from January 2013 to February 2013 up by 39,000 to 237,000 jobs. February 2013 Employment Situation Report Shows 236000 Jobs Added and Unemployment Rate at Lowest Level since 2008

Total nonfarm payroll employment in the United States increased by 236,000 jobs in February 2013 while the unemployment rate dropped to 7.7 percent – the lowest level since December 2008 – and the number of unemployed persons dipped to 12 million, according to ‘THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION — FEBRUARY 2013’ released today by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The report also revised the change in nonfarm employment for December 2012 from 196,000 jobs added up to 219,000 jobs added and the change for January 2013 was revised from 157,000 jobs added down to 119,000 jobs added. February 2013 ADP National Employment Report Reveals Increase of 198000 Jobs in Month

Private sector employment in the U.S. increased by 198,000 jobs from January to February 2013 on a seasonally adjusted basis, according to the February 2013 ADP National Employment Report® produced by Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP®) in collaboration with Moody’s Analytics. The report also revised the estimated gain from the January 2013 report up by 23,000 to 215,000 jobs. January 2013 BLS Employment Situation Report Shows Increase of 157000 Jobs

Total nonfarm payroll employment in the United States increased by 157,000 jobs in January 2013 while the unemployment rate at 7.9 percent and number of unemployed persons at 12.3 million changed little during the month, according to ‘THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION — JANUARY 2013’ released today by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The report also revised the change in nonfarm employment for December 2012 from 155,000 jobs added up to 196,000 jobs added and the change for November 2012 was revised from 161,000 jobs added up to 247,000 jobs added. Private sector employment in the U.S. increased by 192,000 jobs from December 2012 to January 2013 on a seasonally adjusted basis, according to the January 2013 ADP National Employment Report® produced by Automatic Data Processing, Inc. December 2012 BLS Employment Report Estimates 155000 Jobs Gained while ADP Report Reveals 215000 Jobs Added

Total nonfarm payroll employment in the United States rose by 155,000 jobs in December 2012, bringing the total number of jobs created in 2012 to 1.84 million, according to ‘THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION — DECEMBER 2012’ released by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) today. The report also found the unemployment rate remained largely unchanged at 7.8 percent while the number of unemployed people, at 12.2 million, also was little changed during the month. November 2012 BLS Employment Report Shows 146000 Jobs Added while ADP Report Estimates 118000 Jobs Gained

Total nonfarm payroll employment in the United States increased by 146,000 jobs in November 2012 and the unemployment rate dropped to 7.7 percent from 7.9 percent, according to ‘THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION — NOVEMBER 2012’ released by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The report also found that Hurricane Sandy – which hit the Northeast coast on October 29 and caused severe damage – “did not substantively impact the national employment and unemployment estimates for November.” The report is available at http://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/empsit.pdf until the December 2012 Employment Situation Report is released on Friday, January 4, 2013.
