Employment Screening Resources to Co-Host Webinar Series with Paycor on Recruiting and Hiring

Employment Screening Resources (ESR), a leading global provider of on demand background check services, will co-host a three part webinar series on recruiting and hiring with leading HR and payroll software provider Paycor. The first webinar in the series – “Recruiting and Hiring Series Part 1: The Background Screening Landscape has Changed! The webinar will be co-hosted by ESR Founder and CEO Attorney Lester S. Rosen and ESR Vice President Strategic Growth Dawn Standerwick. Together they will examine the fast rising trend of class action lawsuits being filed against employers for alleged violations under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and how most could have easily been avoided. The session will explore the top reasons employers are being sued and areas every organization should review to ensure a compliant process.

In the webinar, Rosen and Standerwick will explain how, more often than not, employers are sued for violating “FCRA 101” – simple rules and procedures that are clearly set out in the law. Most of the claims involve aspects of the employer’s background screening process that could be easily remedied to comply with the FCRA such as reviewing the forms used for background screening. Part 2 of the webinar series will take place on February 18, 2016, while Part 3 will take place on March 10, 2016.
