The 2021 PBSA Annual Conference will take place virtually online from September 13 to 14, 2021, and in-person in Anaheim, California, from September 12 to 14, 2021. Virtual and in-person registration rates will be the same. Individuals who need to switch their in-person registration to a virtual registration or vice versa will be allowed to do so. In-person registration includes live education sessions, on-demand content via the mobile app/virtual platform, the Sunday night opening event, exhibit hall admission, networking opportunities, and breakfast, lunch, and receptions. Virtual registration includes access to live-streamed sessions and select breakout sessions, on-demand content via the virtual platform, virtual networking breaks, and virtual sponsor showcase.
Each in-person attendee of the 2021 PBSA Annual Conference will be able to select the appropriate comfort level at the time of registration: “Green” means that handshakes are welcome, “Yellow” means elbow or fist bumps only, and “Red” means that attendees should kindly remain six feet away. Attendees can switch categories at the conference if their comfort level changes and must have a current membership to attend at the member rate.
Founded in 2003, the PBSA was established to represent the interest of companies offering employment and tenant background screening services. The PBSA represents over 880 member companies engaged in background screening ranging from Fortune 100 firms to small local businesses and is the trusted global authority for the background screening profession.
