Attorney Lester Rosen, author of “The Safe Hiring Manual” and founder of Employment Screening Resources (ESR), will moderate a roundtable discussion about “Compliance and Background Checks” on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM PT at InspireHR West. To register for the event, click here.
Attendees will learn the legal risks and pitfalls in using social media to screen candidates, understand the need to give former offenders a second chance while protecting an organization from undue risk, and stay on top of legal compliance issues impacting their background screening and risk management processes.
Rosen is a frequent speaker on background check issues. He was the chair of the steering committee that founded the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA) – which represents the background screening industry – and was the first co-chair. He received the PBSA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019.
InspireHR West – formerly HR West – will take place from March 6 to 7, 2023, at the Oakland Marriott City Center in Oakland, California. EmpowerHR Tech Americas will take place from March 7 to 8, 2023, at the same location. Attendees can use a single registration for both conferences. To learn more, click here.
